Breaking News: Corbin on Hannah!

OMJ, you guys. I just came back from Tribune Studios right here in Hollywood to watch a rehearsal of Hannah Montana’s season 2 finale! Guess who was there? None other than the super adorable Corbin Bleu! The talented singer and actor is coming back to the show as Johnny (you may remember him from the very first episode of Hannah). The main scene I watched them rehearse today was so hilarious. I can’t tell you much, but you have to watch out for an unforgettable “date” with Corbin as Johnny and Miley as Hannah in this episode. Backstage at Teen Choice

Not only did I get to interview celebs as they arrived to Teen Choice Awards last Sunday, I also got to hang out at the Backstage Creations lounge. This is where award presenters and winners like Miley Cyrus, Lucas Grabeel and Vanessa Hudgens got hooked up with really cool gifts from companies like Sanrio, Wet Seal, Guess shoes, Tiger Electronics and more. Hangin’ at Teen Choice Awards

The theme for yesterday’s Teen Choice Awards, held at Universal Studios Hollywood, was “Teens Go Green.” It totally made sense when I found my spot on the grass carpet! There were light rain showers before the celeb arrivals began. I was a little worried I wasn’t going to get to interview the stars, but luckily, it cleared up just in time!

One of my first interviews of the day was Selena Gomez, star of the upcoming TV show Wizards of Waverly Place. She looked so cute in a black top and animal print pants. I found out Selena couldn’t decide until last minute what to wear to the awards show. Well, she picked a super cute outfit, that’s for sure! I loved her Mickey Mouse charm necklace. Selena told me it was a gift from Disney Channel. How sweet!

Jump In! star KeKe Palmer also stopped by to chat. I thought her white dress was perfect for the summer. KeKe told me about her new album So Uncool. It goes onsale September 18th and features “Keep It Moving,” the first single and video off the CD. “It’s R&B and hip-hop,” KeKe said. “It’s a cool and fun vibe.” She told me that she got some advice from Corbin Bleu while making her album.

Then, the moment I was waiting for all morning finally arrived - THE JONAS BROTHERS! They just came back from performing at the Arthur Ashe Kid’s Day concert in New York last Saturday. Nick, Joe and Kevin were dressed up to the nines, looking so cute in their outfits. I asked Kevin about his new hair style. “I’ve decided to go a little curly,” he tells me. “I just wanted to change things up a bit.” Joe then told me about sharing clothes with his brothers. “I take things from Kevin’s closet, maybe a little from Nick,” he laughs. I also loved that all three of them sported way cool retro-looking sunglasses. “It’s sunny out now so you gotta do the sunglasses,” Nick smiles. “It’s part of the look.” I totally agree!

The first thing Mitchel Musso did when he saw me was hug me. He was so sweet and totally head-to-toe stylish in his matching black hoodie and baseball cap. I also couldn’t take my eyes off Mitchel’s blinged out “L.A.” necklace and belt buckle. He sure knew how to arrive in style! I also noticed a unique accessory Mitchel wore - a thin plastic band around his right wrist. “This came off a weed whacker that cut my finger,” he says. “I’ve had this on for like five years and it hasn’t come off yet.”

The carpet got crazy busy minutes before the show started. The celebrities kept passing by, including host Hilary Duff, Vanessa Hudgens, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman, Avril Lavigne, and of course, ZAC EFRON. The hottie looked casual and cute yesterday, rocking a white t-shirt and vest. Everyone was screaming for Zac but he had to get rushed inside for the show. I also caught a glimpse of MILEY CYRUS, wearing a very cute sparkly blue dress, giving hugs to everyone on the red carpet, including KeKe and the HSM 2 stars.

I got to watch the entire show backstage. The celebs would come back to the press room after presenting or receiving an award. I knew this was my chance to ask Miley a couple of questions. She came in towards the end of the show and told me that none other than Kenny Ortega - HSM director - will be directing her tour with the Jonas Brothers! I loved her outfit so I had to find out how long it took her to get ready for the show. “It took me about one to two hours,” Miley says. “I kind of got in trouble for running late.” Miley and I also talked about her quick cameo on HSM 2. “I was on set for two days and it was so much fun,” she adds. “It was a good experience.”

Miley reveals Hannah movie deets!

Hey everyone! Are you ready for the weekend? I am! But before I go, I wanted to share with you the awesome time I had last night at a party with Disney Channel stars. So many of your favorites were there - from HSM 2’s Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and Monique Coleman, to Cory in the House’s Kyle Massey, Jason Dolley and Jake Thomas. I also spotted Hannah Montana stars Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso and Moises Arias on the dance floor, as well as last week’s birthday girl Madison Pettis. BTW, Madison wanted me to tell you guys THANK YOU for all the messages and comments you left on the blog. Keep leaving them, because I always make sure the celebs read your comments!

Okay, okay, let’s get down to business. I chatted with Miley Cyrus at the party (she was wearing this super cute black and white sparkly top over black leggings last night) and she gave me SUPER EARLY DETAILS about the Hannah Montana movie. “We’re gonna go to production next year,” Miley says. I asked her what her reaction was when finding out that her hit show was being turned into a big screen movie. “I was really excited,” she adds. “Especially because my dad’s gonna be a producer on it, too. It’s gonna be really cool.” I’ll keep you updated when I get more from Miley and the gang about Hannah Montana - the movie!

Hannah Montana…the movie!

First, I want to say “Congratulations!” to Miley Cyrus and her fans for making her the YOUNGEST ARTIST EVER to have TWO NUMBER ONE ALBUMS in less than a year. That’s awesome! But, Miley’s got another big thing in store for you. Can you guess what it is? “We’re trying to work on putting the (Hannah Montana) movie together,” she smiles. OMG, totally exciting news!!!

So Miley/Hannah on the big screen? Yes, please! “Now we’re figuring out ideas,” Miley says. “My dad is the producer, which I’m really excited about. He’s never done anything like this before, but my dad is ready to take on new challenges.” Miley’s dad Billy Ray reveals even more secrets about the HM movie. “There’ll be a lot of similarities (to the show), and the fact that Miley is so real, her music is real, we’ll keep a lot of that realism,” Billy Ray says. “But I think we’ll go a little further with the comedy. And it’s going to be on the big screen, so we’ll try to make everything look bigger.”

Miley has a few ideas of what she wants in her big screen debut, too! “The best idea is that I miss home,” she says. “So if we could maybe film in Nashville and everyone could see our house and where we live, that we have a farm, that would be really exciting.” For EVERYTHING you need to know about Miley and Hannah Montana, check out BOP, Tiger Beat and right here with me at the Daily Dish!

Miley’s Hollywood concert!

Hey guys,

I got a VIP pass to the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert at the Hollywood and Highland complex in Hollywood, CA yesterday. I had so much fun. It was a little hot outside, but being around all the Miley fans made it totally worth it! I got there a few hours before the show started and there were already hundreds of fans waiting. The stage had an awesome backdrop that said Hannah Montana on it. I got to go behind the stage and saw a Miley Cyrus backdrop, too. That’s because it was a double show yesterday. Miley first performed as Hannah Montana and then she sang three more songs from her CD Meet Miley Cyrus.

I spotted Miley with her mom Tish and a couple of dancers literally minutes before her Hannah show began. She posed for some TV cameras while the crowd on the other side shouted “Hannah! Hannah!” She came out wearing a sparkly top, aqua blue pants and her famous blonde wig in a punky do. She looked so cute. The show started with a minor technical glitch - her mic wasn’t working! But Miley (as Hannah) kept on singing and dancing through the first song. When her audio came back on, she told the crowd “You guys keep rocking, I’ll be right back!” She came back singing “Make Some Noise” and the fans went wild! But the show was not over yet. There was a short break while Miley changed out of her Hannah look and into her Miley performance outfit. During the break, costar Jason Earles came out to hand out prizes and talk to the crowd with Radio Disney DJ Adam. Jason even danced and sang, even though he said he wasn’t very good at it. A few minutes later, Billy Ray Cyrus came out to introduce Miley. In the middle of his speech, she ran out onstage and surprised her dad. It was so cute. Miley wore a grey tee, yellow plaid skirt and knee high bobby socks. It was preppy punk, Miley style! Her hair was dark, long and gorgeous. This was Miley at her natural best. She enjoyed performing as herself and her fans loved every minute of it. She closed the show with a sure to be a hit song “G.N.O. (Girl’s Night Out).” She thanked everyone for coming out and supporting her DVD Hannah Montana: Pop Star Profile and her 2-disc CD Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus. I had an awesome time and can’t wait to see Miley in concert again!

Afterwards, I got to go to an exclusive after party with Miley. They served yummy snacks like mac n cheese balls, teriyaki skewers and lots of desserts. Miley arrived with her mom, dad, big brother Trace and big sister Brandi. They are such a close and happy family. Miley posed for photographers and then did some TV interviews before sitting down to talk to me. She dished about back to school advice, boys (of course!) and her upcoming tour. “It starts in October and ends in January,” Miley tells me. Even though she just had two concerts and did a lot of interviews, Miley’s energy kept going. She was smiling the whole time and so happy to be there chatting with me. Once again, I had the time of my life and have to thank Miley and her fans for that!

Miley’s going on tour!!!

OMG, best Monday morning news ever! I just found out that Miley Cyrus is going on tour this fall. Expect double the fun, because she’ll be performing songs as Hannah Montana and as herself.

“There’s nothing more fun than being out on stage and feeling the vibe from the crowd,” Miley says. “The energy from the fans makes me want to give it my all every night. I’m so excited for fans to hear my solo material. The music is introducing everyone to me, Miley Cyrus, the girl underneath the wig. The songs are personal and will give fans a chance to understand and relate to me. Listening to the lyrics will also show why I love doing what I do – singing, acting and dancing.”

Miley wants to help out as well, and she is donating $1 from each ticket sold to The City of Hope, a foundation that does research for the prevention and cure of diseases like cancer. So, of you buy a ticket to see Miley, you’ll be supporting a great cause at the same time!

It’s gonna be a big day for the star tomorrow because her CD Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus will be released. Are you gonna go out and buy it? I sure am! Make sure to check out BOP and Tiger Beat magazines for all the latest (and greatest) Miley news and posters!!!
